Data Privacy and Account Security

As a server and online service, we prioritize the protection of your data and overall safety. It is our steadfast commitment not to condone any actions within our network that may inflict harm on players outside the network or hinder their gaming experience.

Various prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:

- Unauthorized account access (account stealing).

- Doxxing (disclosure of private information about an individual).

- Store Scamming.

- Information theft (e.g., obtaining IPs through IP grabber links).

- Account trading or selling.

- Exploitation and glitching.

While we diligently strive to address all glitches and exploits, it is essential to acknowledge that despite our efforts, new vulnerabilities may emerge. Consequently, any form of abuse related to the exploitation of glitches or bugs for any purpose will not be tolerated.

We retain the authority to determine when an action is deemed offensive (e.g., abuse of capitalization) and to administer appropriate penalties for cases not explicitly outlined above.

If there is uncertainty regarding acceptable conduct, feel free to consult a staff member for guidance. Additionally, we retain the right to dismiss any evidence older than two weeks.

Your understanding and adherence to these guidelines contribute to fostering a secure and enjoyable environment for all users.

Fair Play

Minecraft mods can enhance your gaming experience, offering performance boosts, visual changes, and even gameplay adjustments. However, not all mods are allowed on our server. Here are the types we permit:

1. Client Performance Mods:

   - These mods aim to improve Minecraft's performance without changing the game itself. For example, mods that enhance FPS.

2. Aesthetic Mods:

   - Mods that only change the game's appearance, like shader adjustments or resource packs. However, they shouldn't alter block properties.

3. Cosmetic HUD Mods:

   - Mods that change the in-game HUD appearance without adding extra info not normally available to players. For instance, adding armor and status effects is okay, but other player health or distance indicators are not allowed.

4. Brightness & Gamma Mods:

   - Mods that adjust brightness and gamma settings, helping you see better in darker areas.

Remember, if your mods trigger our anti-cheat, we'll assume they're not allowed. Use mods at your own risk.

We do our best at SurrealMC to make sure everything is fair and easy for our players!

No messing around with bugs or glitches! In every new Minecraft version, there are some issues, and plugins have them too. It's a no-go to use these to glitch yourself or others, duplicate stuff, or get special perks.

Also, unfair actions not allowed:

- Don't build machines or items that cause lag or mess up other players' fun.

- Avoid making devices that keep a chunk loaded when you're not around.

Trading and Behavior Guidelines

Don't trade stuff or money on the server for real things or cash (It could lead to getting scammed).

You can gift items from the webstore because they have real-world 'usable' value, and we'll protect your purchase.

Be fair and honest. No cheating or tricky ways to take money or items from others.

Keep your names and skins cool. SurrealMC is for everyone, so names and skins should be okay for all ages and backgrounds. If a Moderator thinks your name or skin is not cool, they might ask you to change it.

Following these rules helps make SurrealMC a fun and fair place for everyone!
